  • Built-in chat. You can instant message your friends, classmates, family members, professors (if you dare!), all within your email account.
  • Import your contacts. Import your address book from Yahoo! Mail, Outlook, Hotmail and others.
  • Conversation View. Incoming messages are grouped together to make your life easier!
  • Quick links to other applications. Click the 'Calendar' or 'Documents' links in the upper left corner, and gain direct access to those products without signing in again.
It's not just email! You get a number of other useful applications that will help you organize and keep track of your busy life.

With Google Calendar you can schedule your social and academic life, create personal calendars, invite friends to events, and set up meeting times with your classmates.

Docs & Spreadsheets is great for working on group projects. You can create a document or spreadsheet, share it with your classmates, and collaborate in real-time, from the convenience of your house or dormitory.
